Look for the signs
If you think your hard drive might be dying (perhaps it's making funny noises or the PC is shutting itself off) then we would advise that you stop using your computer immediately, shut it down and call us, as further use may make it worse and there is a possibility that the hard drive could end up unreadable, meaning the safe retrievel of all your files becomes more difficult or, if the damage is bad enough, impossible.
